But what is it time for?


When the wine was gone, Jesus' mother said to him, "They have no more wine." "Dear woman, why do you involve me?" Jesus replied. "My time has not yet come." His mother said to the servants, "Do whatever he tells you." (John 2:3-5)



It is time for us to be honest and say we are out of wine. It is time to stop calling water wine and settling for quenched thirst when God wants us to have so much more. It is time for the House of God-men and women, the young and the old-to embrace the One with power to turn water into wine rather than arguing with each other about why the wine is out. We need to involve Him by simply being honest: "Jesus, we are out of wine!" and as servants we all need to be told, "Whatever He tells you to do... do it." We must embrace the promise in Ephesians 3:20, "Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us".
